b4 Center-Weighted Area
Explanation: This menu defines the size of the area in the center of the viewfinder that gets more weight when using the exposure metering center-weighted. Available options are diameters of 6, 8 (default), 10, 13 mm or „average“.
The diameter of 8 mm has about half the height of the viewfinder image.
„Average“ means that the center and the rest of the image are weighted equally. This is the simplest type of exposure metering that was the standard for some decades before first center-weighted and then more complex exposure metering came up.
