Movie Settings

Nikon D7000 shooting menu Movie SettingsExplanation: Here you can control four settings for recording movies in the live view mode:

  • Movie quality = resolution, compression rate and number of frames per second
The available frames per second are depending on the Video mode.
  • Microphone: Choose the microphone sensitivity or switch it off
  • Destination: Which memory card to use for storing movies
  • Manual movie settings: Enables the manual choice of exposure time and ISO sensitivity if the D7000 is in operation mode M

Tips: Most important is the movie quality which goes from „normal“ TV to Full HD. Please try yourself which resolution fits best for your expectations. The visible differences between „high“ and „normal“ quality are small but high quality needs about the double amount of memory.
