Power Switch

Nikon D5100 power switchExplanation: At the D5100 the power switch has only the function indicated by its name.

Recommendation: It is enough to switch off the camera when it disappears in its bag. The monitor and exposure metering are switched off automatically after a while and then the camera does not consume any power.

But better switch off the camera when you change the lens or the memory card.
